Terms of service
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the hire and use of the Content Creation and Podcast Studio (“Studio”) operated by Studio Halo (South Wales) Limited, located at Unit 12A First Floor, Willcox House, Dunleavy Drive, Cardiff Bay, CF11 0BA.
1. Bookings & Payments
1.1 All bookings must be made in advance via our online system or by contacting us directly.
1.2 Full payment is required to secure your booking.
1.3 Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the booking will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made 24–48 hours before the booking will receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the booking are non-refundable, though rescheduling within 24 hours is available.
1.4 Overruns beyond the booked time will be charged in 30-minute increments at the standard hourly rate.
2. Studio Use
2.1 Clients are responsible for their own content, including any scripts, guests, and materials.
2.2 The Studio is to be used solely for legal purposes and not for any unlawful or offensive activities.
2.3 Clients must ensure that all equipment is used properly and safely.
2.4 No smoking, vaping, or consumption of illegal substances is allowed on the premises.
2.5 Food and drinks are permitted only in designated areas.
3. Equipment and Technical Support
3.1 The Studio includes use of professional microphones, cameras, lighting, and recording equipment as detailed in the booking form.
3.2 Basic technical support is provided. If advanced assistance is needed, additional fees may apply.
3.3 Any damage or loss of equipment caused during the hire period must be paid for in full by the client.
4. Content Ownership & Usage
4.1 The client retains full ownership of any content created during their session.
4.2 Studio Halo (South Wales) Limited does not claim rights to your content but reserves the right to use behind-the-scenes images or testimonials for promotional purposes (with your consent).
4.3 Clients are responsible for securing all necessary permissions and rights to use music, images, or third-party content in their productions.
5. Conduct and Liability
5.1 Clients and their guests must behave in a respectful and professional manner.
5.2 Studio Halo (South Wales) Limited is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal items.
5.3 Clients agree to indemnify the studio against any claims arising from the use of the studio, including intellectual property disputes or harm caused during the session.
6. Health and Safety
6.1 The studio adheres to all applicable health and safety regulations.
6.2 Clients must follow all posted signage and instructions from staff.
6.3 In case of emergency, clients must follow evacuation procedures and alert staff immediately.
7. Termination
7.1 Studio Halo (South Wales) Limited reserves the right to terminate any booking without refund if the client breaches these terms or behaves inappropriately.
7.2 Repeat violations may result in a permanent ban from using the studio.
8. Changes to Terms
Studio Halo (South Wales) Limited reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website and will take immediate effect upon posting.
